Join us on Saturday, September 30, 2017 for a full day of heart-pounding, side-aching, gear-grinding, mountain bike excitement for the entire family!

The Fall Color Festival

Annual mountain bike fund-raiser held at the John Muir trails in Southeastern, Wisconsin. Proceeds support future trail development and trail maintenance. This is your day to give something back to the trails and the sport you love. Money raised benefits this trail system. Your trail. Your event.

  • Wisconsin State Park Admission Fees apply. Trail pass required for anyone 16 yrs or older.

Awards

The Fall Color Festival logo is burned into wooden plaques with bark on each side. The plaques are made from basswood, which is the best wood for successful wood burning. These unique, custom awards are for the top 3 (male & female) finishers. We also have 2-1/4 inch custom medallions with the raised Fall Color Festival logo for the top finishers in each age group.

Activities for the Entire Family

Bring the entire family! There’s an exciting Children’s Ride and a Children’s Activity Tent that includes face painting among other fun and creative activities.  There is also a Parent / Child Tag-Team event.

  • Free hot dogs and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches for all children.

Fat Bike and Unicyclist Events

The Fat Bike Event consists of 1 lap of the brown loop followed by 1 lap of the blue loop. Fat bikes were invented for winter trail riding and racing in sub-arctic Alaska and simultaneously, for touring the deserts of New Mexico. Their utility has expanded to include all forms of cycling; they thrive in snow, sand, desert, bogs and mud as well as riding what is considered normal mountain biking.

New this year is a Mountain Unicycle (muni) even that consists of 2  laps of the brown loop at John Muir
